Jane Barton

Jane Barton is an experienced professional in HR technology and systems, currently serving as the Workday Functional Lead at Hitachi Rail since May 2025. Prior roles include Head of HR Technology and HR Technology Project Lead at Inizio from June 2022 to July 2024, where expertise in Workday HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Absence Management, and Reporting was developed. Previously, Jane served as HRIS Project Lead at UDG Healthcare plc, specializing in Workday Recruitment and other HR functions, and was a Business Process Expert during the global implementation of Workday HRIS at Ashfield, a UDG subsidiary. Earlier in the career, Jane worked as an HR Advisor and Employment Law Consultant at Peninsula Business Services. Jane's foundational education includes studies at Macclesfield College of FE and Macclesfield County High School.
