Nicola Carangio

Nicola Carangio is an accomplished engineering leader specializing in rolling stock and physical architecture. Currently serving as Head of Engineering and R&D Excellence, as well as Head of Rolling Stock and Physical Architecture at Hitachi Rail since January 2020, Nicola has extensive experience in the rail industry, with previous roles including Head of Rolling Stock at Hitachi Rail STS and various management positions at Ansaldo STS, a Hitachi Group Company. Nicola's academic credentials include an Executive Master in Leadership and Change Management from INSEAD Business School and Master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering from both the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli and the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli."
