Reuben Thomas is currently the Head of Safety, RAM & Interoperability at Hitachi Rail GTS Denmark, managing a multinational team and overseeing the implementation of safety plans for the ETCS Level 2 signalling system in Western Denmark. Previously, they served as a Safety Manager at Alstom, where they led the safety management for Denmark's largest ERTMS signaling renewal program. With extensive experience in risk assessment and system assurance, Reuben has successfully overseen significant railway projects in both Denmark and Malaysia. They hold a Master's degree in Safety Risk Assessment from the University of Malaya and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from University Tenaga Nasional.
