Shalini Malshani

Shalini Malshani is a Telecoms Engineer at Hitachi Rail, contributing to Queensland Rail projects that implement the European Train Control System (ETCS) for advanced digital railway signaling. With significant experience at Dialog Axiata PLC as Lead Engineer in Enterprise Cloud & Security Solutions, Shalini was responsible for architectural analysis, design, and delivery of cloud, IoT, and security services. Prior roles include Associate Lead and Specialist in Solution Engineering, focusing on network planning, implementation, and technical account management for corporate clients. Shalini began a career in engineering at ZTE Corporation and completed industrial training at Sri Lanka Telecom PLC and the Airforce. Shalini holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
