Stephen McGurk

Stephen McGurk serves as the General Counsel of Governance and Integration and UK General Counsel at Hitachi Rail since June 2022, following a distinguished career at Porterbrook where roles included Chief Portfolio Officer and Chief Commercial Officer from March 2004 to June 2022. With over two decades of legal and commercial experience in the transport sector, Stephen has established a strong reputation for driving successful outcomes through collaborative efforts. Previous positions include Legal Counsel at Bombardier Transportation and Solicitor at Freeth Cartwright LLP, supplemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Nottingham.
