Vivek Palta

Vivek Palta is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the automotive and beverage industries. Currently serving as the Head of Special Projects at Hitachi Rail since June 2024, Vivek previously held key positions at various Hitachi companies, including Deputy CFO & Corporate Officer at Hitachi Astemo and Vice President of Finance for Asia at Hitachi Automotive Systems, where a focus was placed on growth opportunities in the region. Prior to that, Vivek was the Vice President for EMEA at Delphi, advancing their career through finance director roles and global finance leadership within Delphi Diesel Systems and Delphi Automotive. Earlier career experiences include managerial positions at Coca-Cola and Asea Brown Boveri Limited. Vivek is a Chartered Accountant, having earned a degree in Finance and Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
