Michael West

Michael West has over 35 years of work experience in engineering and program management roles. Michael is currently the Engineering Director for US Operations at Hitchiner Manufacturing since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy as the R&D Director for Product Support in the Sports Medicine department from 2018 to 2021. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Director of Engineering & Program Management at Nypro Healthcare. Michael also held the position of Sr. Engineering Manager at Medtronic Spine & Biologics from 2005 to 2013 and worked as an Engineering Manager at Signicast Corporation from 2002 to 2005. Their career started at Hitchiner Manufacturing in 1986, where they worked as an Engineering Manager for 16 years.

Michael West completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSET) in Manufacturing Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management at Plymouth State University, graduating in 1995.
