Carlos A. Rojas

Carlos A. Rojas currently serves as Vice President of Software Engineering (Cloud Resilience Engineering) at Capital One, leading a resilience engineering organization focused on automation and system continuity. Rojas has received the HITEC 100 Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024 and serves on the HITEC Corporate Advisory Board. Previous experience includes notable roles at Amazon Web Services as a Senior Leader in Global Automation, where Rojas facilitated global expansion through automation and orchestration. Additional roles span various leadership positions at Capital One, Fannie Mae, NII Holdings, and Cascades Technologies, encompassing expertise in software development, DevOps, and technology program management. Rojas earned an Executive Certification in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds degrees in Management Information Systems from George Mason University and Software Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura.
