Jambu Jambunathan

Jambu Jambunathan is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the VP of Corporate Development at HiTHIUM Energy Storage since May 2024. Prior to this role, Jambu held the position of President - Energy Storage, North America at Trina Solar from August 2022 to April 2024, where the focus was on entering the US energy storage market. Jambu previously worked as Vice President of Energy Storage at Mitsubishi Power Americas from 2018 to 2022, establishing an energy storage business centered on integrated solutions. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Solar and Storage at RES, managing a significant solar development pipeline, and holding various titles at GE Renewable Energy, where initiatives included the incubation of a solar-hybrid business. Jambu's career began at GE Power & Water, where multiple roles were undertaken in R&D and product development. Jambu earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
