Jay Patel

Jay Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jay co-founded and served as President and CEO of Enlight Institute from January 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Board Member at Village Energy, where they played a key role in relaunching the company and raising over $600,000 in grants and debt. Jay also held the positions of VP of Business Development and was responsible for overseeing strategic partnerships and major clients.

Jay Patel has also worked as a Google Ads Expert at Hive Digital, Inc. since October 2019. Jay previously served as an Acumen East Africa Fellow at Acumen in 2017. Earlier in their career, Jay worked at Google as an Account Strategist, managing mid-tier AdWords accounts and spearheading business development initiatives. Jay received customer satisfaction awards during their time there.

Before Google, Jay Patel worked as a Corps Member at City Year, where they planned and ran educational programs and managed logistics for Camp City Year. Jay also gained experience as a Summer Fellow at New Sector Alliance and as a Research Intern at NERA Economic Consulting. Overall, Jay's work experience showcases their entrepreneurial, strategic, and analytical skills across a variety of industries.

Jay Patel attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Jay'sfield of study included Economics and Political Science.
