Bill Chen

Bill Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and organizations. Bill worked as a Summer Analyst at NewView Capital, a company focused on providing funding and operational support to entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Bill also served as a Website and Social Media Assistant at Global Water Alliance, contributing to their online presence and communication efforts. Bill's role as Deputy Director of Growth at Climate Cardinals, a non-profit organization, allowed him to contribute to making climate education more accessible globally. Bill also gained experience as a Student Advisory Board Member at the Institute of Contemporary Art and as an Associate in the Multimedia Department at The Daily Pennsylvanian, Inc. Additionally, they played important roles at the Netter Center for Community Partnerships, including being a Nonprofit Connect Program Student Coordinator and an Associate Consultant. Prior to this, Bill worked as an Emergency Call Center Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania and had various roles at GIVE, including Executive Director of Outreach, Instructor, and Outreach Team member. Bill also served as the Student Human Rights Committee Chair of Fair Housing at Fairfax County Government and as an Instructional Assistant at Kumon North America, Inc.

Bill Chen completed their high school education at West Springfield High School from 2018 to 2022, earning an Advanced Studies Diploma. Following this, from 2022 to 2026, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
