Julia Tierney has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 with Sodexo Prestige Events as a Commercial Manager. In 2008, they moved to IMG as Head of PR, Marketing & Communications - Challenger World and later Sales & Marketing Manager - Intelligent Sport. In 2012, they took a six-month break to sail across the Atlantic Ocean as First Mate / Crew on various boats. Finally, in 2013, they joined Hive Learning as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Customer Officer UK & Europe, Operations Director, and Commercial Director.

Julia Tierney completed their Bachelor of Arts 2.1 Hons in Management & Economics at Nottingham University Business School in 2006. Prior to that, they attended The Cotswold School from 1996 to 2004.
