Head of Products (Platform, VPT & Threat Research) at Hive Pro

Purvi Garg has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and product engineering. Purvi is currently the Head of Products at Hive Pro, where they lead the engineering department for HivePro Uni5, an AI-enabled Risk Based Vulnerability Management platform. In this role, they manage a team of 25+ professionals and is responsible for transforming business ideas into scalable and robust enterprise applications for the cyber security industry. Prior to this, Purvi was the Co-Head of Product Engineering at Hive Pro, where they played a key role in the development of vulnerability prioritization and risk-based vulnerability management technologies.

Before joining Hive Pro, Purvi worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at PwC India. During their time there, they designed security architectures, prepared security plans, and drafted security standards for various projects, including the National ID program of an African country and a leading public sector general insurance company in India. Purvi also performed security code reviews for numerous applications.

Purvi's early work experience includes a brief role as a Program Coordinator at Netcamp Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Purvi Garg obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from SRM University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Software Expert in Fortify Software Security Center and Static Code Analyzer from Micro Focus in May 2018, an ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor from BSI in December 2017, a Certificate in Core Java from Java Home in May 2015, a Certificate in Android Development and a Certificate in Network Management from Netcamp Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in July 2014, and an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) from EC-Council in October 2018.
