Sofia Alabart

Sofia Alabart has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business intelligence, data analysis, and data management. Sofia is currently working as a Business Intelligence Developer at Hive Streaming since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital Consultant at AlixPartners from December 2020 to September 2021, where they applied modern modeling approaches, business intelligence patterns, and data management techniques. Sofia also utilized interactive data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present results effectively.

Before AlixPartners, Sofia worked as a Data Scientist at Flow Technology S.A. from March 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they focused on business intelligence using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, and SQL. Sofia was also responsible for data analysis, insights generation, and building dashboards. Sofia also gained experience in data preprocessing and handling for modeling purposes.

Sofia's work experience also includes a role as a Data and Model Analyst at Ternium from March 2019 to April 2020, where they worked through Flow Technology. Sofia'sresponsibilities involved conducting plant surveys, software modeling, and applying business intelligence techniques to models and supply chain.

Prior to that, Sofia worked at PwC as a Business Data Analyst from December 2018 to March 2019, where they were involved in projects with international clients, developed web applications for transfer pricing, and utilized business intelligence tools for consulting and external clients. Sofia also had a role as a Trainee STEM at PwC from May 2018 to March 2019.

Other experiences include a summer engineering internship at Ternium, where Sofia worked as an Engineering Assistant, and a role as a Pasante en Planta Piloto at UTN - Rosario, where they worked on plant surveys, layout elaboration, and equipment calculations and validations.

Sofia Alabart completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachiller en Ciencias Naturales from Escuela Comercio N°2 "Gral. Guemes" from 2009 to 2011. Sofia completed their secondary education at Colegio San Antonio from 1998 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Sofia Alabart has obtained various certifications and completed courses in different areas. Some of their certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 from Microsoft in 2023, Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Platform Essentials from Databricks in 2021, and SQL for Data Science from Coursera in 2021. Sofia has also completed courses such as Curso Completo de Power BI Desktop from Coursera, Machine Learning a Case Study from the University of Washington, and Fundamentals of Machine Learning, Fundamentals of Unified Data Analytics with Databricks, and Academy Accreditation - Delta Lake Essentials from Databricks, all in 2021. Other certifications and courses they have completed include Power BI training from Kubicle, EF SET English Certificate, Complete Data Science Bootcamp from 365 Data Science, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) from the University of Michigan, Indicadores de Desempeño from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Introducción a la Norma ISO 14001:2015 from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional - Facultad Regional Buenos Aires, and SolidWorks training from Servipyme. Sofia also holds a Cambridge English Certificate of Proficiency in English, obtained in 2011.
