Hargovind S. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and machine learning. Their most recent role is as a Software Engineer at Hiver since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at the same company from January 2022 to June 2022. In this role, they worked on all stages of the ML development lifecycle, including data gathering, preprocessing, model selection/training, and evaluation. Hargovind developed a Logistic Regression model using TF-IDF as the text encoding technique, achieving a Precision Score of 92 for the desired class.

Before joining Hiver, Hargovind worked as a Software Engineer at EzySchooling.com in 2018. Hargovind developed REST APIs using Python's Django Rest Framework, following a Microservices architecture. Hargovind worked on various modules, including a messaging system, integrated payment gateway, and a complex form API customized for clients.

In 2017, Hargovind served as a Google Code-In Mentor. Hargovind mentored around 112 tasks related to the OpenWISP organization during the program. Their tasks involved introducing high school students to open-source technologies, Linux OS, and specific technologies like Python, Django, Ansible, and Git used in the organization.

Hargovind S. pursued their Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computer Science, specialized in AI/ML, from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology with honors from JSS ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION, NOIDA, from 2016 to 2020. In 2015, Hargovind S. completed their high school education at Army Public School (APS), where they focused on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
