Giuseppe Sampino

Giuseppe Sampino has a diverse work experience in the media and sports industry. Giuseppe is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of HiWay Media since July 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor for International Media Rights at Kosmos starting in April 2020 and will continue until March 2023.

Giuseppe also worked at Sportradar for several years, holding various roles. From November 2019 to March 2020, they served as the Senior Director of Global Sales and Business Development, focusing on OTT and Media Rights. Before that, they were the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development for EMEA and LATAM in the Sports Media division. Additionally, they held the position of Media Rights Director, leading the sales team responsible for the international distribution of Sportradar's media rights portfolio.

Prior to joining Sportradar, Giuseppe worked at the sportsman media group as a Media Rights Director. Giuseppe was responsible for managing the sales team, negotiating and executing sales cycles with broadcast and digital partners worldwide, and identifying new business opportunities.

Earlier in their career, Giuseppe worked at Dorna Sports as a Media Sales Executive, where they were involved in the international media distribution of MotoGP and SBK World Championships. Giuseppe also worked at Rai Com S.p.A as a Sports Rights Sales & Distribution Executive, where they handled TV rights international sales for prestigious Italian sports events.

Giuseppe began their career at the FIGC - Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio as a Coordinator for Youth Championships.

Giuseppe Sampino pursued their education starting in 2004 at Università degli Studi di Teramo, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management in 2008. Four years later, in 2008, they attended Master SBS and obtained a Master's degree in Sports Business Administration in 2009.
