Ajit Basi

Ajit Basi has extensive experience in the field of information security and IT management. Ajit currently holds the position of Director of Information Security at Hiya Inc., a role they started in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Information Security Manager at the same company from October 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Hiya Inc., Ajit worked as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Avanade from January 2019 to October 2020. Ajit also held the position of Group Head of IT and Information Security at AGM Group from January 2018 to January 2019. Earlier in their career, Ajit served in various IT security and management roles at Santa Fe Relocation Services, Interdean International Relocation, Interdean Interconex, Interdata Business Systems Inc USA, and Interdean GMBH.

Ajit Basi obtained their MSc degree in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City, University of London from 1986 to 1988. In 2016, they also obtained a certification for Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA.
