Tim Spillane

Tim Spillane has extensive work experience in data science and research. Tim is currently working as the Principal Data Scientist & Sr. Manager at Hiya Inc. since September 2020. Prior to Hiya Inc., they worked at Allstate as a Senior Data Scientist from July 2016 to September 2020. Tim also served as a Senior Research Scientist at Schlumberger-Doll Research from November 2010 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Research Scientist at Canberra Industries from September 2008 to October 2010. Tim began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2003 to August 2008 and as an Associate Scientist at Radiomed Co. from January 2002 to August 2003.

Tim Spillane earned a B.A. degree from College of the Holy Cross in 2001. Tim later pursued a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut, which they completed in 2005. Tim then went on to obtain a PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of Connecticut in 2008.
