Matthew Upton

Matthew Upton has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Matthew started their career at KPMG Ireland in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Auditor until 2008. In 2008, Matthew joined H&K International as a European Commercial & Financial Accountant, and later progressed to the role of European Senior Finance Manager in 2012. Matthew was responsible for managing six direct reports and overseeing the monthly consolidated management accounts. Matthew then became the Head of Finance - Europe in 2014, where they developed and implemented functionalities and controls to drive the monthly financial close. Most recently, they served as the Vice President European Finance at H&K International, reporting directly to the MD of Europe and influencing operational and financial strategic management decisions. Matthew's role involved driving the implementation and development of financial, reporting, and analytical controls for the European sales and services operation.
