Jermaine A. Walker (Jay)

Jermaine 'Jay' A. Walker is the Managing Partner of the Atlanta and Birmingham offices at HKM Employment Attorneys LLP, a position held since August 2019. Previously, Walker served as a Senior Assistant County Attorney for DeKalb County Government from May 2006 to August 2019, where responsibilities included representing the county in property tax appeals, employment litigation, and drafting local government ordinances. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Ford & Harrison LLP, focusing on labor law, and serving as a Field Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board, conducting elections and investigating labor practices. Walker holds a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University.
