John O'Rear

John O'Rear, IIDA, has extensive experience in interior design, particularly in healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Interior Designer at HKS since July 2012, John previously held the position of Healthcare Planning and Design Manager at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from October 2009 to July 2012. John’s tenure at HKS from November 1993 to June 2009 included a significant role as VP and Director of Quality Control for Healthcare Interiors. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Arlington, completing studies from 1988 to 1993.
