Shannon Kraus

Shannon Kraus is the regional director, principle, and EVP at HKS, Inc. Shannon has over 25 years of experience in the architecture and design industry. Shannon started their career as an intern architect at Phillips Swager Associates/PSA-Dewberry. Shannon then became an intern architect at BLDD Architects. In 1997, Shannon became the national vice president at AIAS. In 1999, Shannon Kraus began working at HKS, Inc. as a studio designer/planner. In their current position, Shannon is responsible for master planning, strategic planning, and design for health care facilities.

Shannon Kraus received their MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Shannon also holds a Masters of Architecture from the same school. Her undergraduate degree is in Architecture from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Shannon also attended Decatur MacArthur.

Shannon Kraus reports to Dan Noble, President & CEO. They work with Leonardo Gonzalez Sangri - Global Practice Director, Education, & Principal, Sam Mudro - CFO, Principal & EVP, and Janhvi Jakkal - Office Director & Principal, Chicago.
