Hema Chandran is an experienced engineer specializing in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with a solid background in project and system engineering. Currently, at HL Klemove R&D Center India since February 2022, Hema manages specification documents and oversees project activities for OEM projects. Previously, as an Associate Engineer, Hema integrated hardware and software products into vehicles, conducting comprehensive testing to enhance performance and efficiency. Hema's early experience includes a graduate engineering trainee position at MANDO AUTOMOTIVE INDIA LIMITED, focusing on ADAS projects, and a graduate engineer apprenticeship at Lucas TVS Ltd, which involved benchmarking turbocharger actuators and BLDC motors. Hema holds a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Hindustan University, completed in 2019.

HL Klemove is a new affiliate of Halla Group and is launched by Halla Group to cater to Autonomous driving and Mobility business needs of the industry. Klemove is a company that has already produced and supplied more than 20 million advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and has more than 2,000 patents in autonomous driving technology. HL Klemove’s core products for autonomous driving include lidars, 4D imaging radars, high-resolution cameras, in-cabin sensors, and high-performance autonomous driving control units. HL Klemove Bengaluru Tech Center (BTC) is launched to research, develop and test future generation products tailor made for Indian Automotive industry. BTC is one of the pioneers among Indian companies to start AI research and development indigeously in India and now the company takes pride of the in house developed AI software (logic) that is also ported on multiple hardwares to cater to diverse needs of Indian OEMs. BTC also implements localization strategies by developing customized products and applying them to local automobile companies.
