Ornela Janitschek, MBA

Ornela Janitschek, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ornela is currently working as a Market Research and Insights Manager at HLK since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Laureate Education, Inc., where they held the positions of Senior Market Research Analyst from September 2019 to September 2021, and Market Research Analyst from August 2016 to September 2021. At Laureate, Ornela was involved in project management, designing qualitative and quantitative research studies, analyzing data, and providing strategic recommendations.

Before joining Laureate, Ornela worked at T. Parker Host. Ornela served as a Commodity Reporting Analyst from May 2015 to May 2016, where they coordinated and analyzed data for commodities reports and developed user-friendly formats for presentations. Ornela also worked as a Boarding Agent from January 2016 to April 2016, where they managed vessel loading and discharging, coordinated port activities, and prepared maritime documents. Additionally, they gained experience as a Special Projects Intern at T. Parker Host from January 2015 to May 2015.

Ornela's earlier work experience includes being a Graduate Research Assistant at Old Dominion University from August 2013 to May 2015, where they contributed to research projects. Ornela also worked as a Sales Consultant at Beach Ford from June 2012 to March 2013 and as a Digital Story Telling Project Ambassador at the United States National Park Services from March 2011 to December 2012.

Through their diverse roles, Ornela has developed skills in market research, project management, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Ornela Janitschek, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from Hampton University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Ornela further pursued their education at Old Dominion University, between 2013 and 2015, and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Maritime Ports and Logistics Management.
