Shoichi Soga

Shoichi Soga has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Shoichi started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Consultant in 1992, and later joined Deloitte as a Senior Vice President in 1998. Shoichi worked at Deloitte for almost two decades until 2016.

In 2017, Shoichi served as the General Manager of Wooden Biomass Power Generation at Symenergy and then became the General Manager of Corporate Planning at Renewable Japan Co., Ltd.

Starting from 2018, they joined SEMBA as an Operating Officer, responsible for Accounting and Finance.

In 2020, Shoichi joined TeamSpirit Inc. as a Senior Director, leading the finance and accounting team. Shoichi also served as a Board Member at TeamSpirit Inc.

Currently, Shoichi Soga is working at HLS Global as a Director in the Audit & Financial Advisory Service department.

Shoichi Soga completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from Waseda University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Shoichi obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants in June 1999. In January 2009, they became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Following that, in May 2010, they achieved the status of Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Accountants from the Institute of Public Accountants. Most recently, in July 2021, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Tax Accountant from the Japan Federation of Certified Public Accountant's Association.
