Chad Kramer

Chad Kramer has extensive experience in plant breeding and genetics, currently serving as the Director of Breeding AMPA at HM.CLAUSE since November 2020. Previous roles include Head of America’s Tomato Breeding and Breeding Lead for Global Processing Tomato at Bayer Crop Science from June 2019 to October 2020, and Tomato Breeder at Monsanto Company from June 2009 to October 2020, where responsibilities included the development and testing of parental lines and hybrids for processing tomatoes. Chad also worked as a Trait Genetics Scientist at Monsanto, overseeing the launch of trait-linked markers across various vegetable species. Prior experience includes an Assistant Scientist role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an undergraduate research assistantship at Penn State University. Chad holds a PhD in Plant Breeding & Plant Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Horticultural Science from Penn State University.
