Krista Honsa has been in the finance and accounting industry for nearly 30 years. Krista began their career in 1992 as a Senior Audit Associate/Audit Associate at PwC. Krista then moved to Allianz, where they held various roles including Team Manager, Manager Financial Analysis, and Senior Auditor. In 1998, they joined Jefferson Wells USA as a Business Development Manager. Krista then moved to Thomson Reuters as a Senior Financial Analyst in 2000. In 2003, they became self-employed. In 2012, they became the Controller at Honsa Lighting Sales & Svc Inc, where they were responsible for overseeing accounts payable, receivables, purchasing, invoicing, payroll processing, monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation, and sales tax reporting. In 2019, they became the Controller at CliqStudios, where they were responsible for directing and managing all daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the financial statements were produced in accordance with GAAP on a monthly basis, and preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. Krista also took on a Consultant role at Salo LLC in 2019. In 2020, they became the Chief Financial Officer at HM Cragg and an Independent Consultant, where they provided guidance and support in the wind down of Wayzata Home Products, LLC and its subsidiaries, and reviewed accounts payable information.

Krista Honsa obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992, majoring in Accounting. Krista also obtained a CPA, Inactive certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in May 1992. In 1995, they went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, majoring in Finance and Marketing, which they completed in 1999.
