James Pike

James Pike is an experienced professional in risk management and finance, currently serving as Head of Risk Management at HM Revenue & Customs since September 2020. Prior to this role, James held the position of Head of Finance for Homelessness and Rough Sleeping at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government from October 2018 to September 2020. Additionally, James was Deputy Chief Risk Officer at the Ministry of Justice UK, focusing on enhancing risk management practices across the department and its associated bodies from October 2016 to November 2018. James's earlier experience includes key roles at the Department for Work and Pensions, such as Head of the Programme Management Office for the Work and Health Unit and Scottish Devolution lead in the Financial Strategy and Spending Review team. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Southampton, completed in 2007.
