Daniel Contreras

Daniel Contreras is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in investment analysis and financial operations. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Funds Analyst at HMC Capital since March 2021, Daniel oversees capital events, portfolio management calculations, and communications with contributors and regulatory bodies. Prior roles include Investment & Limits Control Analyst at AFP Modelo, where Daniel validated daily portfolio valuations, and Investment Funds Analyst at Picton, responsible for daily NAV control and capital events management. Earlier experience includes positions at AFP PlanVital within the Investment Control and Middle Office units, as well as Financial Analyst II and Economist I roles at the Central Bank of Venezuela. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Operations Research and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, both from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
