Kim Jenkinson

Kim Jenkinson is the current Executive Director at HMC. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Finance at ROCK from February 2003 to May 2012. In this role, they worked with the Executive Director, Board of Directors and senior managers to establish strategic plans, budgets, and goals for ROCK and its Foundation. Additionally, they directed a diverse team of staff members in finance, property management, and human resources.

Jenkinson has a long history of presenting information in a variety of forums to all levels of staff and volunteers; senior management, mid management, front line staff and the Board of Directors. Kim is also experienced in partnering with various provincial, federal and regional funders to serve the needs of families in Halton. Furthermore, they have lead and supported several committees - diversity, quality assurance, training, finance, strategic planning, marketing, health and safety, fundraising and accreditation.

During their time at ROCK, Jenkinson developed, implemented and continually evaluated the effective and efficient delivery of administrative services to ROCK and its Foundation. Kim also drove one capital build from conception, through funding, to construction and completion. A second construction project is now underway. In both instances, they ensured the integrity of the financial and accounting systems and developed policies and procedures to maintain appropriate controls. Additionally, they reviewed, refined and developed policies and procedures for human resources and finance.

Kim Jenkinson's educational career includes an Executive MBA from the University of Fredericton, a BA in Psychology from McMaster University, and certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from CPA Ontario.
