Sam Giacobozzi

Sam Giacobozzi is a seasoned professional in leadership development and community engagement, currently serving as Senior Director of Leadership Development & Support at The HadaNou Collective since 2021. Previously, Sam held the position of Strategy Associate at Brocade Studio and contributed to the IMPACT National Conference as a Board Member from 2018 to 2021, focusing on advancing social justice education. As Executive Director at Break Away from 2014 to 2020, Sam led the organization through a significant transformation, fostering community-based learning initiatives. Earlier experiences include a Social Work Intern role at the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children, a Graduate Student Representative at the Community Organization Learning Community, and internships in advocacy at ACCESS. Sam's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology from Eastern Michigan University.
