Björn Schlingmann

Björn Schlingmann is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and design, particularly in the e-bike and furniture industries. Currently serving as Lead R&D Engineer at HNF Nicolai since September 2020, Schlingmann has spearheaded the development and launch of new e-bike models and optimized production processes in India. Previous roles include Engineering Director at Pentatonic, where innovative upholstered furniture projects for Starbucks and collaboration with Pharrell Williams were undertaken. As a Senior Design Engineer at MINIWIZ, Schlingmann developed modular design fixtures for prominent clients such as Phillip Morris and Jackie Chan. Schlingmann's educational background includes a Master of Science in Product Development from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Design from Hochschule Emden/Leer.
