Parker Landon

Parker Landon has a diverse work experience in the field of computer science and mathematics. They started their professional journey as a Mathematics Tutor in 2018, providing individual instruction and collaborating with students, parents, and teachers to develop tutoring plans. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern and Learner Advocate at egghead.io, where they reviewed and updated outdated JavaScript video tutorials and developed course notes. Parker then joined Seattle Pacific University as a Computer Science Lab Assistant, providing instruction and guidance to students in debugging techniques, data structures, and algorithms. They also worked as a Linear Algebra Grader during this time. In 2022, Parker returned to Smartsheet as a Software Engineer Intern, where they designed and implemented a highly visible feature using Typescript, React, Redux, and Java Spring framework. They wrote unit tests for both frontend and backend code. In 2023, Parker became the CTO at Hngr and later joined Smartsheet as a Software Engineer Intern, specializing in file reviewers.
