Mick McGavin has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, currently serving as an Account Executive at HNI Risk Services since September 2017. Mick has been a freelance author for the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) since 2000, contributing significantly to the online reference manual Practical Risk Management and authoring the book Blueprint for Workers Compensation Cost Control, along with several editions of IRMI’s Risk Report. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Risk Management at Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. and Outsourced Risk Manager at Aon Global Risk Consulting, with a foundational career at Johnson Controls, Inc. as Manager of Casualty Insurance. Mick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Employee Relations from Michigan State University.
