Bridget Cowie

Bridget Cowie has had a diverse range of work experience. Bridget started their career as an Administration Assistant at Venture Southland in November 2012, where they worked until July 2013. Following that, they joined Datacom in March 2014 as a Technical Consultant, specializing in Production Support and Development. Bridget then transitioned to the role of Application Performance Consultant from October 2015 to January 2017.

In January 2017, Bridget joined Xero as a Monitoring & Tools Engineer, responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company's monitoring and tools systems. After that, they took on the role of Automation Engineer from May 2018 to November 2018. Finally, they served as a Product Owner from November 2018 to April 2021, contributing to the development of Xero's products.

Following their tenure at Xero, Bridget joined SuiteFiles in April 2021 as a Product Owner, where they worked until December of the same year. Subsequently, they joined Sailthru in December 2021 as a Product Manager, until their current position. Currently, Bridget is working at Hnry, starting in June 2022 as a Senior Product Owner.

Bridget Cowie completed their education history at the University of Otago from 2010 to 2014 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended St Hilda's Collegiate School from 2005 to 2009, but no specific degree or field of study was provided for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Bridget Cowie also acquired several certifications. In July 2016, they obtained the ITIL Foundation v3 certification. In October 2015, they achieved the Dynatrace Application Monitoring Associate certification. Furthermore, they became an AWS SysOps Administrator Associate after completing a certification course offered by Amazon Web Services in November 2017. Lastly, Bridget Cowie also completed the Executive Ready Leadership Course, which was conducted by Women & Leadership New Zealand (WLNZ).
