Diana Mendes is the current President of Infrastructure & Mobility Equity at HNTB. Prior to this, they spent seven years at AECOM as the Senior Vice President, Director-Americas Transit Rail. In this role, they were responsible for leading the largest transit design and consulting practice in North America. Before that, Mendes spent seven years at DMJM Harris as the Vice President and Senior Vice President. In these roles, they were responsible for the growth and development of the firm's transportation business, including transit/rail, planning, and environmental practices. Mendes began their career in 1999 as a Vice President at URS Corporation.
Diana Mendes holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, a Masters in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Mount Holyoke College. Diana is also certified by USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace and by American Institute of Certified Planners.
