Libby Hughes

Libby Hughes, PE, SE, serves as a Senior Project Engineer at HNTB, where expertise includes the design and plan preparation for various structures such as retaining walls, foundations, bridges, and piers since June 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Manager at Lyon Associates and as a Bridge Engineer at HNTB, where Libby worked on the preliminary and final design of both simple and complex bridge structures, retaining walls, and hydraulic structures. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Libby possesses a strong background in steel and reinforced concrete design, along with experience in prestressed concrete design.
