Phil Kuntz

Phil Kuntz serves as Chief Engineer and Associate Vice President at HNTB since November 2018, where responsibilities include providing senior-level expertise and conducting technical reviews for significant local and national projects. Prior to this role, Phil Kuntz was Executive Vice President at Janssen & Spaans Engineering, Inc. from June 2001 to November 2018, where contributions led to the growth of the firm from 30 to over 100 employees. Earlier experience includes serving as Transportation Division Manager at Cripe Architects + Engineers from 1995 to 2001, where Phil Kuntz successfully established and expanded the transportation division within two years. Phil Kuntz holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University, obtained between 1980 and 1984.
