Ryan Banas

Ryan Banas, PE, CCM, currently serves as Vice President and Project Director at HNTB, leading the VDOT Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project, which is Virginia's largest roadway transportation project valued at $3.9 billion. Previously, Ryan held various key positions at HNTB, including Associate Vice President and Department Manager for Construction Services, managing significant projects such as the USACE Arlington National Cemetery South Expansion Project. Ryan's expertise in construction and project management is further demonstrated through roles held at Parsons Brinckerhoff and Stantec, including Assistant Construction Manager on the Gilmerton Bridge Replacement Project and as a Field Inspector Intern. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
