Vince Tam

Vince Tam, AIA, AICP, currently serves as the Urban Design and Planning Section Manager at HNTB since June 2021. Previously, Vince held the position of Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs from June 2012 to June 2022, teaching a core course in Graphics and Multimedia Communication in Planning. Vince's experience also includes roles as Senior Urban Designer, Associate, and Urban Designer at HKS, Inc. from March 2016 to June 2021, focusing on the Sports and Entertainment Studio. Prior to this, Vince worked as an Architectural Designer at JHP Architecture and Urban Design from June 2012 to February 2016 and served as Co-chair of Women In Architecture from August 2013 to December 2014, promoting women's involvement in the field. Vince began a career in the field as an Architect/planner intern at Arlington Urban Design Center, City of Arlington, from January 2011 to May 2012. Vince holds a Master of City and Regional Planning and a Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as an Honors Bachelor of Science in Architecture, magna cum laude.
