Maximilian de Bruyn

Maximilian de Bruyn has extensive experience in the aviation industry, particularly in helicopter operations and training. Currently serving as an EMS Pilot with Canadian Helicopters Limited since April 2019, Maximilian utilizes S76C+ aircraft equipped with Night Vision Goggles. Previously, Maximilian held various leadership roles, including Operations Manager and Chief Pilot at CHC Helicopter from 2013 to 2019, overseeing crew training and flight operations with multiple EASA, FAA, and Transport Canada certifications for the AW139. Maximilian also operated Maximilian Safety, an aviation safety consultancy, from 2009 to 2019. Earlier flight instructor positions were held at Agusta Westland and as an instructor pilot with Wynnwith Group Ltd. Maximilian’s career commenced as an Officer Pilot in the Royal Netherlands Air-Force from 1991 to 2003. Maximilian possesses an Aviation Safety and Security Certificate from the University of Southern California.
