Andrew Ly

Neurologist, Medical Director Neurophysiology at Hoag Hospital

Andrew Ly has extensive work experience in the field of neurology. Andrew served as the Chair of the Department of Neurology at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian since 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Hoag Hospital as a Neurologist and Medical Director of Neurophysiology starting in 2009. From 2009, they also held the role of Section Chief of Intra-Operative Monitoring at Hoag Affiliated Hospitals. Before that, they were a partner at Newport Neurohospital Medical Group, Inc. starting in 2008.

Andrew Ly attended UC Irvine from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General. Andrew then pursued their medical education at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science from 1999 to 2003, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Medicine. In addition to their formal education, Andrew Ly holds certifications such as being a Diplomate from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., and being eligible from the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology.
