Jason Semko

Jason Semko has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jason currently works as a Lead Software Developer at Hoag Health System since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Hulu from 2019 to 2023, where they played a crucial role in re-architecting multiple teams and implementing new language/frameworks. Before Hulu, Jason was a Lead Developer at Soylent from 2015 to 2019. Jason collaborated with the CEO to implement customer-centric changes and served as the sole maintainer for Soylent. Jason also worked as a Software Engineer at HUGE Inc. from 2011 to 2015 and as a Prep Tech at Panavision from 2007 to 2009, gaining valuable experience and skills in various roles.

Jason Semko earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2007. Jason also completed various courses on Coursera in 2013, including Introduction to Mathematical Thinking, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1, and Computer Networks, for which they obtained Coursera Verified Certificates.
