Margaret Harris

Margaret Harris has extensive work experience in various roles related to compliance, contracts, and finance. Margaret is currently working as the Principal Research Compliance and Conflicts of Interest at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director Compliance and Contract Services at Hoag Orthopedic Institute from August 2013 to January 2022. Margaret also served as a Financial Budget Analyst at the same company from June 2010 to August 2013. Before joining Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Margaret worked as Manager Finances at Grace Harbor Church and School from July 2006 to June 2010. Their earlier experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at O'Neill from July 2004 to March 2006.

Margaret Harris obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Margaret then pursued further education at Purdue Global, where they obtained an Executive Juris Doctor degree in Health Care Law. In addition to their degrees, Margaret also holds various certifications, including Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), Certified HIPAA Professional from ecfirst, and Healthcare Research Compliance Certification (CHRC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB).
