Allyson George began their work experience in 1983 as an HR Specialist at the Federal National Mortgage Association and worked there until 2008. From 2001 to 2007, they served as an HR Specialist at the Hoover Board of Education. In 2007, they joined Hoar Construction as the Director of Human Resources and held this position until 2011.
Allyson George attended Samford University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Business.

The story of Hoar Construction is the story of people. It’s individuals, families, communities, all coming together to build places that will truly last, and become a legacy for the generations to come. We have been in business for 80 years, and we’re very proud of that. There aren’t many companies in our industry that have been around this long. During these 80 years, we’ve been able to thrive, grow, and expand. What started out as a small family business is now more than 600 employees strong. Today, we have seven offices in six states and attribute our success to the values our company was founded on. From the beginning, we have had a relentless desire to improve. We constantly seek ways to change not only our own company, but to improve the industry. We saw time and effort being wasted on warranty callbacks, so we created a unique quality control program that is now being used by contractors across the country. We know the biggest problem facing the construction industry is inefficiency, so we work hard to eliminate inefficiency every day. We use creativity and attention to detail to dig deeper than the drawings. We don’t ask, “How do we build this?” We ask, “How do we build this better?”
