Shawn Tippie

Shawn Tippie is an experienced engineer specializing in applications, welding, and manufacturing. Currently serving as an Application Engineer at Hobart Filler Metals since March 2023, Shawn previously worked as a Welding Engineer at Norcold Corp from November 2015 to March 2023 and as an Application Engineer at Wayne Trail Technologies, Inc. from October 2014 to November 2015. Prior roles include Manufacturing Engineer II at Vulcan, a Division of ITW Food Equipment Group, and various engineering positions at Webster Industries, Inc., Lenawee Stamping Corporation, and Arvin Sango Inc., where contributions spanned welding, design, quality control, and production support in automotive and manufacturing sectors. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering, Material Science, and Manufacturing from The Ohio State University.
