Neil Tonkin

Neil Tonkin has extensive experience in data protection, risk management, and loss prevention, currently serving as the Data Protection & Safety Officer at Hobbycraft since October 2010. Responsibilities include managing compliance with GDPR and overseeing health and fire safety needs. Previously, Neil held various positions such as Risk Manager, Group Retail Director at Cardinal Security Group, and Client Services Director at The Loss Prevention Company, among others. Neil's career started in the Royal Navy, where duties included managing electronic warfare on a destroyer. Education was completed at Kings Norton Secondary School.
