HOCHIKI CORPORATION is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of fire alarm systems and fire control equipment. It has two business segments. The Disaster Prevention segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale, construction and maintenance of fire alarm systems and fire control equipment. The Information Communication segment is involved in the sale, construction and maintenance of information communication equipment, as well as the manufacture, purchase and sale of security equipment. In addition, the Company is also engaged in the logistics and the non-life insurance agency businesses. As of March 31, 2015, the Company had 13 consolidated subsidiaries.
