Dr. Tobias Prokein

Koordinator Internationales Qualitätsmanagement at Hochland

Dr. Tobias Prokein serves as the Koordinator internationales Qualitätsmanagement at Hochland since 2008, overseeing the international coordination of quality management and the strategic direction of the department, while advising on food safety, food law, microbiology, and laboratory issues across international locations. Previously, Dr. Prokein held the title of Fachgebietsleiter Deklarations- und Spezifikationsmanagement at Hochland Deutschland GmbH and worked as Stellvertretender Laborleiter at Labor Kneissler, where responsibilities included legal assessment of food, interpretation of scientific results, report generation, and client consulting. Dr. Prokein earned a degree in Lebensmittelchemie from the Technical University of Munich, a Ph.D. in Makromolekulare Chemie from Ulm University, and holds a certification as a Datenqualitätsmanager from GS1 Germany, along with being a state-certified food chemist from CLUA Sigmaringen.
