David Wilbers LL.M. is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and human rights. Currently serving as Chief Human Rights Officer and Senior Compliance Counsel at HOCHTIEF since October 2020, David is responsible for operational compliance tasks including training, audits, case handling, and reporting, with a focus on anti-corruption, cartel law, money laundering prevention, labor criminal law, and sustainability. Prior to this role, David worked at PwC from March 2014 to September 2020 as a Rechtsanwalt, specializing in compliance auditing and management system development for international companies. Additional experience includes working as a Rechtsanwalt at Heinemann und Partner, providing legal services in commercial protection, labor, and criminal law, as well as internships at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and filmpool entertainment GmbH. David obtained a Staatsexamen in law from the University of Münster.
